Planed Machined Timber & Moulded Timber

Timber when machined takes on a new form. It is naturally a warm and environmentally friendly material but when dressed or moulded to a pattern, it becomes a versatile finishing product suitable for many applications. We stock a range of 5th Joinery quality timber in its sawn state to be finished by the customers to their required sizes.

Our large range of P.S.E (Plane Square Edged) timber is machined from kiln dried Scandinavian redwood, this is a quality timber which is mainly used for internal projects. All internal timbers must be kiln dried or well-seasoned to avoid twisting and splitting caused by central heating.

Moulded timber available includes Bullnose / chamfered architrave and skirting, Torus architrave and skirting, Ogee architrave and skirting, Ovolo architrave and skirting, picture rail, dado rail, mop stick handrail, wallfix pigs ear handrail, matchboard, PTG floorboard, Shiplap board, Tanalised Loglap, window board and internal door linings / casings. A wide selection of mouldings and beading are available (e.g. Quadrant, stripwoods and dowels etc).
